We are now able to offer pottery lessons at Aido’s Annascaul Cafe and Pottery. Working with clay is amazingly relaxing.
All adults and regardless of ability are completely absorbed with the designs they were able to do with the clay. Suitable for families and children alike.
We are doing pottery classes and making pottery since the 1970s. The Phelans moved to the area and set up the cafe where they have been selling pottery in Dingle ever since. Later in the journey they added vegan, vegetarian and meat options to their menu. Our cafe is nestled in the heart of the Dingle Peninsula where Aido’s Annascaul Cafe and Pottery offer a delightful blend of local history, art, and cuisine that you should not miss when you visit this beautiful region. If you’re planning to explore the Dingle Peninsula, and Annascaul in particular you’ll find that it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee. In fact coffee in Annascaul is the no. 1 be to spot for all Dingle Camino walkers who travel from Tralee to Dingle each year. Be like them and indulge in some delicious vegetarian food, and even try your hand at pottery. As you dive into the area’s rich heritage, you will learn about Dingle’s historical foods and the fascinating history on Annascaul village, Aido’s provides an immersive experience that implements history in its food and cooking techniques. In fact, after sampling some of the best vegetarian food in Dingle at Aido’s, you can unwind with a warm drink and take pottery classes in Dingle, or paint your own cup. You’ll learn a craft with deep local roots. Whether you’re staying in Annascaul for a tranquil getaway or visiting for a day trip, Aido’s Annascaul Cafe and Pottery serves as the ideal stop to experience both the flavors and creativity of this picturesque Irish village.
