The cafe itself sells great food, ( see menu ) but on these market days you may be tempted to have what the other vendors are selling. There usually are delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes on these days. The cafe hosts these markets once a month until September.

Weekly cottage markets in Annascaul
Everyone is free to sell at the cafe. Annascaul Cafe has suitable indoor spacious table area and also will be selling outside the building. In fact it is a great place to lunch Annascaul is a wonderful place to spend some time as their are amazing walks surrounding the village.
The first market day in 2022 is February 12th. The day is so close to Feb 14th that it is the ideal place to buy Valentine Gifts for a loved one where street vendors will be selling homemade,Jewellery, Home Baking, Gluten free Bakes and Vegetarian, Art and Crafts, Books , Candles, Flower Display, Plants and Herb .
We are encouraging locals and travellers to support this event on Feb 12th. We will run it again on March 12th
Support Local. This is a sustainable way to improve the local economy and have fun and a great day out –
Why not have a swim afterward or visit the wood fairies in the forest near the village on the easy Annascaul River Walk. See you at the market outside Annascaul Cafe at 12am

What is covered ?
Each individual can apply to sell in the cafe on the day or take a stand outside the premises. We can assist with tables. Please bring yiur own pagoda if you wish to sell outside. There is a nominal introductory charge for 3 months of 10 Euro per day. This fee will be paid to the Cottage Market in Annascaul on day of event.
