Annascaul River walk and the forest Fairy Village
Annascaul River Walk with Forest Fairies
Lough Annascaul lies 4.5km north of the village of Annascaul village on the Dingle Peninsula. At thge westerns end of the village you can access the Annascaul River walk through the South Pole garden. There is a bridge that you can access to start you down the River walk route. Follow the river walk for 3 km. This gorgeous walk follows along the river bank and is suitable for all. As a family stroll it is ideal as it closed and fenced off. Additionally it is quite flat all the way to the forest stile.
Travelling 1.5 km in, you will come to a stile. Cross this and you will come to a lovely little forest. It even has its own fairies where you will see theirt houses in the tress. When you finish exploring the fairy dwellings continue on to the rood which runs along the outskirts of the forest. At the road you have 2 choices. If you take the turn to the left and it will bring you up to Annascaul Lake. If you take the turn to the right you can loop back to Annascaul village where is a shorter walk.

You can see this when they are always leaving little notes and treats for peoplwe they trust ald like. Another thuing you need to realise is that all fairies are quite different with different personalities. Some fairies talk alot and some say lite and are rather quiet but generally most fairies love to play in gardens
