Scones in Annascaul. We serve them for breakfast and lunch

I have been testing a few new recipes. We love scones and this is one we have been trying out recently

The Ingredients

490 grams self-raising flour
50g butter, chilled, chopped
96 grams grated cheddar cheese
1 1/2 tbsp chopped fresh chives I used fried onion
1 1/2 tsp fennel seeds

1 tbsp wholegrain mustard

These are so good with our homemade soups or delicious in any of our tuna or ham sandwiches
