Egg Hunt and Car Treasure in Annascaul

There was  a Car Treasure Hunt in Annascaul on April 18th at 1pm. It It was a family day event and entrants had to find 20 clues in village  in in a 5km radius. 

 Lios Na Gcraobh Resident committee organised this event.  Over 60  people attended the event  which was great for its first attempt to raise funds for a community garden

18 April Easter Hunt

The 2pm Children’s Egg Hunt around Annascaul Village returned to Annascaul Cafe for painting. The Easter Bunny entertained all the children and Easter Bob judged the best painted and designed  eggs. Annascaul Café  did the catering on the day. The  egg hunt was different in that children and parents had to look for real eggs.  The egg hunt happened in the grounds of the church It was a  hunt with a difference where we hid 85 eggs within the ground of the church. Annascaul Cafe  prepared  stews and pizzas  for all the  entrants. 

The car treasue hunt was held within a 5km zone where Inch, Annascaul Lake, and some of the majestic hills of the village were location points for clues.

Great prizes were there  for the winners and genuinely it was a great day out

5. To support the improvement of living conditions, community facilities, services for residents living in the Lios na gCraobh, Annascaul area, promote seniors, disabilities, and all-inclusive to socially be active and help them to have the quality of life to be in their own homes.

6. Creating an estate for recreational peace and tranquility.

7. Enabling young people and children to actively involve themselves in their own development and the development of the community.

8. To promote equality/diversity and human rights.
